George Noory Sucks, Bring Back Art Bell to Coast To Coast AM

Although George Noory is a nice man, he really sucks compared to Art Bell. It is my opinion that the show, contrary to their propoganda is going down the tubes. What the heck are they thinking. BRING BACK ART BELL!  Does anyone agree with me???

I agree totally, I emailed George about a guest claiming to have visions about the upcoming election however she failed to state she was a Democrat before stating Obama would win. Art would have not allowed that without letting it be known this person was a Democrat supporter. George.s reply was a smart-ass remark about Art.

I agree John Wells would be better, George is just pitiful!

Coast To Coast AM is owned by Clear Channel Communications, which has demonstrable ties to the existing corporate/media/government power structure. In one instance, CCC launched a radio station which tried to portray itself as a "pirate" station calling itself "Radio Free Ohio" in an attempt to draw in listeners who had become tired of the propaganda issued through other CCC stations (Rush, Hannity, etc.) from government sources. CCC has "suggested" to its stations that certain songs and materials may be "inappropriate" and have prevented songs by such artists as Rage Against The Machine from being aired. RAM often targets the existing power structure in its songs. It has also attempted to get the FCC cap on the number of stations an entity can hold lifted in order to acquire more stations. Noory is being used to drive off and disperse the knowledgeable and diverse peoples who found a home on Coast To Coast AM. While Noory seems to be an affable and genuinely likeable individual, he is out of his league on this show. His repeated hosting of certain guests (like "The Number's Lady") do little to maintain the audience. His producers seem to fail in their responsibility to seek out new and exciting guests who bring timely, and useful information to the show and its listeners. However, their choices may be the result of simple corporate control. I do enjoy when he has Alex Jones on from time to time, but Alex has his own show, so it does little except to perhaps expose a few more listeners to Jones. The other thing that aggravates me is the same callers night after night, some using the same name, others using different names who often make little or no sense at all. These people are not the drunks and addled that Art used to have fun with, but some with seemingly serious substance abuse issues or even issues with mental illness. Another irritating issue is people calling in and whining about their personal situation. Personally, I'm sympathetic, but does it really have a place on air? I laud George for picking up the tab for a listener's mortgage and for helping another get his eyes repaired, but is that really appropriate for on air fare? Or is it just a publicity stunt? How many other people have called in hoping for help and were then turned down by the screener? Personally, I think Noory should be replaced with John B. Wells, and Ian Punnett should be replaced with George Knapp. However, even with these stellar talents in place, I think C2C as we knew it is done for simply due to corporate control. I would LOVE to hear Art Bell back on the air, but knowing what he went through in his personal life prior to and after the death of Ramona, and him having a chance at a REAL family again.... I understand, support, and wish him the very best. I sincerely think his voice has gone from the commercial airwaves for good. I no longer listen to on air broadcasts, but subscribe to streamlink. Sadly, I may get one or two good shows out of a weeks downloads. After the subscription runs out, I will not be renewing. That's tragic for someone who has listened since 1994.

Absolutely ! It's like comparing apples to oranges. Noory turned the once intriguing talk show into a almost lame kiddie format. I can't listen to him at all. You arer better off listening to The Phil Hendrie Show if you seek some sort of truth.

I am listening to what is left of "coast to coast" right now, with George Noory as the host. Listening to the guests on this show I HAD to type in "George Norry Sucks" into my search engine and see if I could vent about it.

GUEST ONE was some guy talking about how it is "important to be likeable". I'm not kidding that was the guys bit. That's like saying "It is good to drink water when you are thirsty".

GUEST TWO is some quack talking about making herbal medicines based on what horses eat when they are sick.

Where are the alien abductions, where are the ghost stories, where are the government informants???? This was (I use that past tense) an interesting show!!! Norry drove it into the ground. I could host this show a million times better then norry of course that would be half as good as Art Bell but that would be better then this dribble!

I get so upset listening to Noory... All kidding aside, he is an idiot... Recently it seems like he is trying to become a savvy talk show host in as much as he thinks he knows when to cut the guest off or ask a question, but what ends up happening is that George will cut the guest off just as he is about to answer a question or make a good point. Does George even listen to what the people are saying?

He is really an idiot, and I mean that respectfully. He tries to fool the guest and people into thinking that he is full of knowledge when in fact he is sitting there with help Googling **** just so he can sound like he is up on what the guest is talking about.

WHERE IS ART BELL?

I like listening to John Wells as he sounds like Art and he is intelligent!
